Greetings!
With fall break over and classes resuming again this is more or less the home stretch for a law school semester. I had a few assignments due right before and right after break and as of right now it is grind time until finals. This may be my favorite part of the semester. Classes seem to find their identities as a group this time of the semester, which results in great discussions and healthy banter.
I have been battling a little bit of a flu lately so hopefully that clears up. Being sick right now is terrible for a number of reasons, including that fact that the weather in Virginia Beach is amazing right now. You just want to be outside.
The Regent Cup Competition is just beginning to get started, and I just wanted to say good luck to all the participants. If you live close to Virginia Beach, coming down and watching the finals of the Regent Cup is a really great way to see some of the skills you will pick up while in law school. Also, the finalists are quite amazing at what they do and you can tell all of the hard work that all of the participants put forth in the competition.
Also coming soon is the Chili Bowl Flag Football Championship Game, which is in a week or so. Flag football is an entirely different beast than regular football, but the games are always a blast and its nice to see that Regent has some real athletes on Campus. Maybe we can push Dr. Campo into starting an athletics program......maybe.
See you next time,
David
